Product Review | Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow
I love these eyeshadows. Let's just get that out of the way. The rage of wet and dry shadows is probably the game changer in the way eyeshadows bring attention to the eyes. Having the option to use a damp brush (spray it with Fix Plus or whatever fixing spray you use) to apply them makes your eyeshadow game strong AF, for a lack of better words.
These shadows are soft, creamy, highly pigmented (dry or wet) and applies smoothly on the lids, crease and brow bone. They are also long wearing. I prefer to use them wet when I am going out at night, and dry during the day time when I am aiming for a more subtle look. They remind me of MAC's Extra Dimension eyeshadows, with its design and texture, as well as pigmentation. Light Gold in 208, has been said to be a dupe for MAC's Whisper of Guilt by many YouTubers. I do not own Whisper of Guilt but I will try to find a photo to post to show the comparison.
The packaging is classy and basic, a sturdy black square casing. However, when it comes to eyeshadows, I prefer it to have some clear window so I can see the colors easily. There are also only 23 shades in this line which is a small variety compared to other brands with 50 or more. It retails for $14 online and at local Kiko Milano stores. The price for the quality of these shadows is definitely on point.
Swatched (top to bottom) : Champagne (200), Rosy Taupe (201), Golden Mauve (203) and Light Gold (208). #productreviews #eyeshadows #kikomilano #watereyeshadows #makeup #beauty #shimmereyeshadows #morphebrushes
