Product Review | BH Cosmetics Marble Collection Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Stone

BH Cosmetics Marble Collection Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Stone ($12, BH Cosmetics website)

Taking it straight off of the BH Cosmetics website, The 12-Color Eyeshadow Palette, is a collection of highly pigmented neutral mattes and shimmers. Shades range from frosty ivory, pink and peach to rich taupe, tan and bronze, allowing you to achieve daytime glam as well as nighttime drama. Colors can be worn individually, blended and intensified, and add polish to any look. They come in a sleek, mirrored case featuring a unique marbled pattern.

I purchased this palette after seeing it from one of my favorite beauty lover's (@beautifiedlife96) post on instagram. Another reason is that it reminded me of my Jouer Essential Matte and Shimmer Eyeshadow palette (which retailed for $40, but got it with a discount code). Since this palette was so affordable and after watching some reviews on YouTube, I decided to give it a whirl. Plus, come on, it is $12! Let's start with the packaging, personally, packaging is everything to me. If it is attractive, I will most likely be intrigued and make the purchase. BH Cosmetics mostly packages their palettes using a thick cardboard casing, though designed classy, it is cardboard. This was the first one they packaged using a hard plastic case, and in this instance, they made a marbled designed which brought their game three times higher. The case is sturdy and classy, that is easy to open and close.

The palette contains 12 eyeshadows that are beautiful, soft, creamy and highly pigmented. They are easy to blend and lasts long when you use a primer prior to application. I did a mini first impression on Instagtam comparing this to the Jouer palette mentioned in the previous paragraph and said that if you have this, you do not need to have the Jouer palette. I actually like this better than the Jouer palette, to be honest. The company is based in North Hollywood, which is not that far away from where I am, so shipping is pretty fast. I definitely recommend this palette whether you're a beginner or a lifer in using eyeshadows. It is definitely an amazing product, and a great bang for your buck.
