Product Review | L'Oreal Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender Sponge

Product Review | L'Oreal Infallible Blend Artist Foundation Blender ($7.99, Ulta, Walgreens and Amazon) : According to the L'Oreal website, this Infallible® Blend Artist Foundation Blender, is designed with an exclusive plush material and easy to grip shape, creates a makeup application that will 'wow' the pros. Rounded edges of the blending sponge guarantee effortless blending. Plush sponge material ensures makeup sits on the sponge creating a smoother, more uniform blending experience and a professional makeup result.

I am a loyal customer and a firm believer of the Beauty Blender, however, every now and then try new beauty sponges.  To be honest, I did not high hopes for this L'Oreal Blending Sponge.  I was not looking for this in particular, but I randomly picked it up when I was at Walgreens looking for a gift card during the holidays.  Upon purchasing, I looked up reviews on YouTube and at that time there were not a lot of them out there as it was a newly released product.

So I followed the instructions, just as any beauty sponge require, to wash and or dampen the sponge.  I kid you not, this sponge is amazing.  It does not soak up a lot of product and it spreads out the product evenly on the skin.  The dense but semi pointed top is perfect for blending concealer around the under eye area.  It is not as soft as the Beauty Blender.  This is a little bit more dense and firm but it has enough "bounce" to cover the areas of the face with a natural looking finish.  It is easy to clean but I did notice that my first sponge (this is now my second and have already bought two other back ups) had a small tear/cut after a month's use.  It usually takes about 2-3 months for my Beauty Blender to be damaged after daily use and daily wash.  Regardless, the for the price of $7.99, I think it is a good product.  It t is good alternative to he Beauty Blender but I like I said, I am still a Beauty Blender fanatic, so this is something I will have alongside it - not necessarily to replace it.  I think this is better than the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge (the orange one).  As mentioned, I already purchased back ups of this sponge as I do with the Beauty Blender.  Would I repurchase? You already know the answer.
