Product Review | E.L.F. Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser

Product Review | E.L.F. Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser ($10, Target): According to the E.L.F. website, this gentle, hydrating formula melts on contact transforming from a gel to creamy oil that helps dissolve makeup and cleanse the skin. Formulated with Purified Water and infused with nourishing Argan Oil, Rose Extracts, and Rose Seed Oils to help moisturize the skin. It's also rich in antioxidant Vitamin C.

If you have been following my blog before, you will know how much I enjoy the packaging of the E.L.F. Skincare line.  The frosted container and the mix of blue/green/teal shade brings a lot of freshness to the entire line and makes the product stand out even more, in my opinion.  This is the first time I have used a cleanser with this texture and formula.  The gel itself it thick but it thins out pretty easily once spread on the face.  I use the E.L.F. spatula to get the product on the areas of my face and blend it in with my slightly damp fingers.  The dampness of my fingers is what activates the cleanser into a white foam (not super foamy though) as you rub it all over your face and take the makeup off.  I was afraid it will leave a greasy feeling on my skin, but surprisingly it did not.  It actually left my skin moisturized.

This is similar to the Clinique Cleansing Balm and the Pixi Beauty Cleansing Balm only this has a cheaper price tag, although it does have less product than the two mentioned above.  Overall, I love this product.  I am almost out of it.  Will I repurchase? Yes.
