Product Review | Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask
Product Review | Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask ($16 on Amazon, $20 on the Laniege Website)
According to Laniege's website, The Lip Sleeping Mask has a softening balm texture that closely adheres to lips for quick absorption. Enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, its Berry Mix Complex™ offers a nutritiously sweet and fragrant blend of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry extracts to indulge the senses. It has an Exclusive Moisture Wrap™ technology that boasts hyaluronic acid and minerals to form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture and active ingredients for 8 hours.
A generous layer of this soothing mask at bedtime helps reduce flakiness so you can wake up to lips that feel refreshed, supple, and soft to the touch. Gently wipe off the remains next morning.
For the life of me, I cannot remember which YouTuber raved about this product. It may have been Kathleen Lights or Natalie for Hashtag Fab Life. Nonetheless, I went online and searched it on Google and found it on Amazon. I use the Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub (and it is a holy grail product for me) when my lips are terribly scruffy, especially when my allergies are really bad as somehow it also dries my lips. The lip scrub helps but I do not have a nice balm or some moisturizing lip product to maintain the hydration and softness of my lips.
This lip mask has done wonders for my lips when it gets dry. I use it as directed, before going to bed and letting it soak in until the next morning. My lips get really soft and moisturized. Sometimes, I use it as a lip base in the morning before applying any other balm or lip product on my lips. It works like a sleeping mask so it is easy to use, no fuss.
I also love the frosted pink jar, so the packaging is a plus. It also contains 20g of product, which I feel the price point is fair. Keep in mind, I got this on Amazon which was $4 less than the price on the Laniege website. I also got free shipping with Amazon.
Would I repurchase? Yes.
