Review:  If you have followed me for a long time on my Instagram account (happyhr247) or know me in person, you will be surprised why I am reviewing this product since my HG (holy grail) for the last two years has been (and still is) the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water (the waterproof one with the blue cap).  Every one and their mother talks about the hype of coconut products being beneficial to the skin, so I decided to pick this up to try (not to replace my HG).

The packaging is a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser but also has a cap that catches the product when dispensed so you can pat your cotton pad on it.  I feel that this is an extra step that is not necessary.  I feel that it is cumbersome at times, but maybe that is also because I am used to just pouring it straight from the bottle to the cotton pad.  Long story short, not a fan on how it dispenses the product.  This also comes in a little over 7 fl oz of product for $8.99, while Garner has a little over 1 fl oz for $6.99 at Target (Ulta sells it for $8.99 and some drugstore for $9.99).   For the size and amount of product, I feel that Garnier is definitely a better buy.

The actual product itself is really nice.  The coconut ingredient definitely adds a lot of hydrating properties to the cleanser.  It feels nice and soft on the skin.  It does not have the "stripping off the skin" sensation as you cleanse your face.  However, this does not take off waterproof mascara as well as the Garnier one.  It takes it off, but I takes me about three times per eye where as with Garnier, I only have to do one slow circular patting motions on each eye.  In fairness to Yes To Coconut, this was not branded as a waterproof makeup remover like Garnier.

Would I repurchase? Jury is still out on this one.  I like the product but there are things that I am not a fan of which are all mentioned above.
