Review:  Skincare is so important, way more than makeup - taking care of our base (which is our skin) is the first step to beautiful makeup application.  Skincare has become really expensive these days so I like to mix and match my skincare squad with some high-end and affordable brands.  L'Oreal recently came out with their Pure Clay products (i.e. cleansers, masks).  I have been looking for a good clay cleanser but could not really find one that I loved.  I saw this at Target and for $5.89 (and L'Oreal being a reputable brand) I decided to pick it up along with their Exfoliate + Refine Clay Cleanser (review coming up on Friday, November 17).

This is a clay + charcoal cleanser which in theory is good for the skin.  After I take my makeup off with micellar water or a cleansing balm - I use this as another step to make sure all of my makeup is off and to wash away any excess dirt and other environmental elements.  A little goes a long way - I massage this all over my face and I also use my hand dandy Sephora Collection Precision Pore Cleansing Pad and it works wonders (I honestly do not think you need a pore cleansing pad to make this product work but for me - it gives an extra oomph).  It keeps my face fresh and clean but it also makes it look healthier and less dull after a long day wearing makeup.

Would I repurchase? Yes. I also bought one to send/recommend to a good friend since it has become a favorite!
