Happy New Year: What's On Tap In 2019

Hi loves! Happy New Year!  I hope everyone is having a good start in 2019. This year is going to be a busy one since I am getting married in May! I can’t believe it’s only a few months away.  So before things get hectic, here’s what’s on tap this year:

NO BUY: I am starting my no-buy this January (this excludes gift card purchases as I did acquire a few over the holidays) mainly because I am at a place where I have enough and really enjoy the items that I own.  I did a No-Buy in 2018 (January - April) after decluttering so many items towards the end of 2017.  Once I was finally off my No-Buy (just in time for the Sephora VIB Spring Sale), I also made sure I was only purchasing items that I really want and need along with having enough space for all of them since I had to prepare for another downsizing prior to our move last summer.  Having said that, I ended up with mostly high end and luxury brand items which also helped curb my spending.

LOW BUY: I got this idea from @_kellygooch on YouTube. This could mean different things to others, but for me, this is only for repurchases of items that have used up and use often. So, if I run out of my @soldejaneiro Bum Bum Cream, I will go ahead and buy a new one, if that makes sense. Basically, for items that are necessary.

BASE FOCUS: Powder products are hard to use up. I have enough blushes, powders and bronzers. Anything that will be repurchased will be mostly foundations (especially Too Faced Born This Way, Fenty Pro Filt’ and Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk) concealers and primers.

REVIEWS: I will do reviews of products I have purchased through the end of 2018. Since I will be on a NO BUY (indefinite time), I will either blog about wedding related topics such as skincare, best wedding makeup, etc.
