Review:  Everyone one and their mothers are going bananas about this foundation.  I loved the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Line but there was an in between shade missing between 208 and 209 so I always ended up having to add a foundation lightener to 209.  When I saw this foundation, I thought it would be a good one to try.  I picked up the shade 480 at the end of 2018 after watching Jasmine and Sam on YouTube early in December reviewing this foundation.  I recently bought the shade 475 because 480 had a much more neutral undertone after it oxidized making my skin look flat.  Shade 475 had a more golden undertone even though in theory it is supposed to be a shade lighter but with the correct undertone, it actually matched me way better.  I have a feeling 485 is another shade that would match very well but they did not have it in stock in store.

I appreciate the clear glass bottle and being a drugstore brand.  Although Physicians Formula's Healthy Foundation still tops the bottle container that reminds me of the older Dior NudeSkin foundation.  It also comes with a black pump and a translucent burgundy colored cap.  The pump is easy to use and it dispenses the product with ease.  This foundation is easy to apply and it blends easily on the skin.  The first time I used this foundation I paired it with a new primer that was water based and it did not sit well on my skin.  I typically do not have a foundation breakdown or movement issue on my normal to dry skin but I am sure it was the primer that caused it.  After pairing with my usual primers, it did sit on the skin a lot better and a lot nicer.  It does have a natural matte finish and it is nice.  However, I would have preferred a satin matte finish but it still works since I use hydrating primers most of the time.

I never tried to build it up to a full coverage as you all know I am not all about that life so I cannot attest to that.  In terms of its 24HR Fresh Staying Power claim, I do not wear my foundation for that long of a time so I do not know if it actually does stay and look fresh for 24 hours.  It is definitely lightweight and very breathable which I love.  It does not feel that I have foundation on when I wear it.  I cannot attest to the waterproof and sweat-resistant claims since I have not dunked my face in water with foundation on and I do not usually wear foundation when going to the gym unless I am coming from work.  In terms of the color staying true all day, I would give that an 80-20 rating because the foundation did oxidize a tad bit after application but stayed true the rest of the day.  The foundation does transfer, not as much as most foundations would but it is definitely not transfer-resistant.

Overall, I would recommend this foundation if you love a natural matte finish that can be build up to a medium coverage (or full coverage).  This will also work for you if you like a lightweight and breathable consistency.  For me personally, I do like the foundation and its formula but I have other foundations that I already own that performs just the same and prefer more.  I will use up both bottles, most likely mixing up the two shades but I will not repurchase.
