Review: These were a part of a complimentary package along with brushes and face products that I received a few weeks ago. These items were sent for reviewing purposes only. No monetary compensation was involved. I was so glad to receive these Studio Pro Concealers since Jasmine (Juicy Jas on YouTube) has been raving about them. She mentioned they are similar to the Huda Beauty Concealers (which I do not own since most Huda Beauty products are heavily scented). I am not a fan of anything full coverage, however, she mentioned that these can be sheered down to a light or medium coverage, as needed.
Over the years, BH Cosmetics as upgraded their packaging along with the overall quality and formula of their products. It comes in a black box packaging with white typography. The concealers are housed in a squeeze-tube with a slanted applicator, similar to some lip glosses. Actually, it has the same applicator as the Huda Beauty concealers only the BH Cosmetics one comes with a plastic applicator instead of a metal one. The product is easy to dispense with a slight squeeze. You can apply the product using a finger or directly from the applicator.
The product has a thick consistency but creamy and easy to apply. This concealer has a high spreadability factor which allows you to either use a light, medium or full coverage. It blends easily using a sponge (I do not typically use brushes to blend concealers unless I need to fix anything near the inner corner of my eye). The product sets in slightly faster than most concealers so work with one side at a time. This concealer has a beautiful finish on the skin. It is not too cakey, not too thick yet provides a decent amount of coverage. I use a light tapping of my Hourglass Veil Powder to set underneath the eye area where the product was applied. This concealer lasts for over 9+ hours without breaking apart or moving around the face area. I typically have two shades of concealers, one for underneath the eye area and another shade that is slightly darker to use for days I do not wear makeup.
I definitely recommend this concealer especially for its price and performance. I do have a normal skin type and my under eye area tends to be slightly dry so as always, make sure your skin is hydrated prior to application.
