Review: You guys know I am late to the game on many trends and a few items, especially the eyelash game. Can you believe I have never worn false eyelashes until my wedding this past May? Aside from my fear of putting eyelashes on (I can't get anything near my eye as I blink way too much), I was also concerned about the eyelash glue possibly irritating my skin due to having tons of sensitivities. I researched quite a few brands and recommendations from favorite YouTube Gurus, but I decided to take the risk and try something that was not recommended but has the "Allure Best of Beauty 2018" seal on the Sephora website. The most important part for me were: latex-free and paraben-free.
It comes in a clear plastic box with box typography. It does look cheap, if I am being honest. I mean, it is $7 compared to other ones for $15-$20. It has a squeeze tube packaging but it does come with a precise brush applicator which makes the glue application on the lash band really easy and precise. This is a plus for me due to my lash band choice, which is the really skinny and thin bands for a natural and comfortable wear on the eyelids. So far, this glue has worked for me and has not broken me out or irritated my eyelids and lash line. I already bought two back ups in the white glue. The only con I can say about this product is that it does not dry completely clear but it has a very faint purple tint when it dries. However, since I apply a thin coat on the lash band it is not so noticeable and if you use a black eyeliner or any other colored eyeliner, it will not be an issue. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this product, especially for its price and the fact that it is latex and paragon-free, plus it does hold my eyelashes for a long period of time.
