Review:  The Artist & Muse Eyeshadow Palette is the latest release from KKW Beauty x Mario collaborations.  This palette came out towards the end of 2019.  I picked this one up in a bundle with their first collaboration in 2018.   This packaging is an illustration of Mario doing Kim's eye makeup in a gray background.  The actual palette's design is exactly the same as its box packaging.  The palette comes with ten eyeshadow pans similar to their first release.  However, the mirror on this palette is slightly larger and the name shades are printed on the palette.  This palette is another neutral color story release by KKW.  Similar to my review of the KKW x Mario palette, the formula of the shadows are beautiful.  They are soft, creamy and easy to blend.  They are also long-wearing and blends seamlessly on top of other shades.  The matte and shimmer formulas are pigmented.  Aside from "The Artist" shade (charcoal with silver shimmer), this palette is pretty basic.  Now, let's explain what basic means to different people.  For me, the color scheme of this palette is perfect for my every day use.  It is practical and I will get a lot of use out of it.  For some, this palette might seem blah and lacks creativity, in order words basic.  Depending on which category of "basic" you fall under based on my personal descriptions, you will either like or not care for this palette.  Would I recommend this palette?  Based on its color scheme, probably not because these shades are probably in many of your palettes.  However, if you are looking for an every day palette that performs and provides a beautiful natural but versatile look, I would say yes.
