Review:  Jason Wu Beauty offers a simple and classic packaging but with powders, in this case Brows Before Boys Brow Powder, with a punch.  After using ABH Brow Powder duo for years until it was finally time to let it go; I haven't found good brow powder that was comparable.  When I saw Desi Perkin's brow hack video (an easy way to do brows without taking forever), I needed a brand new brow powder stat.  However, I wasn't so sure I wanted to spend $23.  When Jason Wu launched his beauty line in February 2021, I was pleased to see a brow powder.  Even better was its $14 price point with gigantic pans.  Oh and guess what, it wasn't just a duo, it is a trio!

The brow powders are packaged in a plastic compact with a clear top where you can see the powder shades without having to open the lid.  It also has "Jason Wu" imprinted in gold letters along with the name of the product.  This brow powder also doubles as a hairline powder for those who prefer to use it that way.  I only use it as a brow powder.  I mean, really you can even use this as eyeshadow if you are on a pinch.  The middle and third shades are perfect for the brows and the first shade is a great neutralizer shade; should you need to lighter or even out he color of the brows.  These powder are pigmented with a capital P; especially the middle and third shade.  They blend easily and has a good staying power.  I like my brows to look more natural (i.e. feathery or fluffy, whichever is the cool term the young kids are using these days) so I like to apply this with a light hand to get a softer brow look.

I did an ABH Brow Freeze live application and I used this powder to fill in my brows prior to applying the Brow Freeze.  The last photo below will show you how this powder looks like on the brows with a light application.  You can also see how pigmented these powders are.  I did two swipes per shade on my arm.  I definitely recommend this brow powder over the ABH Brow Powder Duo not only because of the price but because of how it performs and how multi-tasking it can be.
