Review:  Coola sent me this Mineral Sun Silk Moisturizer Organic Face Sunscreen after they saw my review on their collaboration with Influenster.  I was sent a chemical sunscreen without my knowledge and my skin had a reaction to it.  They were kind enough to send me mineral sunscreen to try instead.

This comes in a white and aqua box with navy blue and aqua typography.  It comes in a white plastic jar that has a press-on contraption that dispenses the product.  It also has a white cap to cover the jar.  The consistency of this Sun Silk Moisturizer is thicker than the Water Cream Sunscreen (how I wish that worked out for me since I love the consistency); but not too thick that you cannot blend it on to your skin. I was actually surprised that despite its thicker consistency it is really easy to apply on the face.  It does not leave a white cast (once blended properly) and it sinks into the skin nicely.  Not only does it protect the skin (it has SPF 30), it also nourishes and moisturizes.  It actually give my skin a soft glow once I apply it.  Once it dries, it does not leave a greasy or super tacky feeling like most sunscreen products.  It also feels lightweight on the skin which is very appealing to me.

I love this sunscreen and it also did not break me out because it is a mineral sunscreen.  It is perfect for my sensitive skin.  I use this daily when I run/jog or just outdoors in general which is pretty often.  It is priced at $42 so it is up there but it is also organic aside from its mineral ingredients.  I suggest that you get it on sale if you want to try it and are not sure if you want to spend your coins on it.  Since using this sunscreen, I have bought two more Coola sunscreen products (one for the body and another lighter consistency to use prior to makeup application - all from their Full Spectrum 360 Mineral line).  I definitely recommend this sunscreen.  However, if you want a cheaper option that is not organic, check out the Cerave Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 30 Face Sheer Tint.  I also use that sunscreen to alternate with the Coola one.  For me personally, I like having both the Coola and Cerave sunscreens at my disposal.
