Review:  I love the Tatcha Silk line.  Obsessed is a much better word for it.  Since discovering their Silk Canvas primer in 2018, I have been a fan and the newly released Silk Powder quickly became a favorite.  I have been using the mini size of this primer for quite sometime and finally got around to writing a review on this amazing product.

Similar to all the Silk line products, this primer comes in a purple container and a metallic finish purple cap.  It has a pump to dispense the product.  It also comes with the gray black box that is typical of the Silk line.

To be honest with you, in the beginning, this felt a little gimmicky to me.  Why?  I mean the Silk Canvas Primer is amazing so why mess with it?  It's probably the reason it took me a hot minute to get on board with it and decided to try a few minis for a while.  Well, let me just tell you right now, it is not a gimmick. This primer is as real as it gets.  It is literally the liquid form of the Silk Canvas Primer.  It is super lightweight on the skin and it applies seamlessly.  Compared to the Silk Canvas Primer, this sinks in a little faster into the skin due to its liquid form.  It gives the perfect canvas prior to makeup application without feeling tacky or heavy on the skin.  As with most Tatcha products, I love that it has skincare properties that allows me to use them on its own as a moisturizer.   Have you tried the Liquid Silk Canvas?  Do you have a preference between the Liquid and the original Silk Canvas formula?  I love both for different reasons and will not give up one over the other.
