Product Review | Palmer's Coconut Oil Shampoo & Garnier Whole Blends Nourishing Mask

Yes, I know. My hair is two-toned, but I am simply growing out my hair without putting any chemicals. For two straight years, I have had lighter hair, almost close to blonde. Most of you know that requires extreme maintenance and lots of chemical processes.  I have been using many products from the salon such as Tigi, Chi, Biolage, Redken, you name it.

While I enjoyed all of those products, I realized that my hair thrived so much with more natural products such as coconut oil, shea butter. This is why I decided to try these two as a shampoo and conditioner combination. Palmer's Coconut Oil Shampoo ($7.99) itself smells good, it is very creamy, it has no sulfates, no parabens, no dyes, no gluten, no mineral oil, like seriously, very raw ingredients. It is gentle on the hair. It keeps my hair light, shiny and healthy. I was very surprised with the Garnier Whole Blends

Nourishing Mask ($6). It is paraben-free. It smells good but what I love about it is that it has a very thick consistency yet easy to apply on wet hair. It really feels like my hair is being repaired as the mask sits for five to ten minutes. I can see how much it restores moisture and makes my hair just look more alive. This nourishing mask and the Coconut Oil shampoo are great together, it is like the perfect mix for a healthy hair with tons of luster, without weighing your hair down.

The best part is they are easily accessible at stores like Target. I am not a fan of products that I cannot get at a local store nor things that I have to take (ie. hair growth pills) just to revive my hair.
