This product claims to be a multi-dimensional baked formula that brings instant glow all day long due to intense shimmer pigment. It is designed to complement all skin tones and skin types. The smooth texture blends effortlessly and gives the perfect luminous finish to complete your look. Formulated without Phthalates, SLS, Triclosan, Propylene Glycol and animal ingredients. J. What better way to start 2017 with a highlighter review, right? I first heard of this product from one of my favorite YouTubers, Jessica Braun (jambeauty89, check out her channel).  So of course, I did my research and found their website along with their instagram account. By the time I heard about this, it was a new release on J. Cat Beauty's website.  I decided to pick up these 2 shades (there is a lighter shade, but I passed on that one).

When I first saw them, they reminded me of Hard Candy's packaging, which I thought was cool. The packaging is pretty simple and easy to open/close. The amount of product that you are getting and the price point are both generous and fair. Surprisingly enough, they are also comparable to the size as the Hard Candy Baked Bronzers. I picked up the shade Twilight (champagne gold) and Pink Goddess (champagne pink). They are both made with soft, smooth and creamy powders. They are extremely pigmented, so a little goes a long way. One thing I noticed is Twilight has a more finer powder than Pink Goddess, as it has more shimmer flecks to it, as you will see on the swatches above. Given that, it does not affect the way it applies on the face, but definitely use a light hand. These highlighters are long-wearing and are beautiful on the skin.

I definitely recommend this product, for the price, quality and also for being cruelty free, along with using less harsh ingredients.  For $8.99, you cannot go wrong with this one. J. Cat Beauty is a local company based in Southern California, which makes is more appealing to me as I love supporting local brands.
