Review:  Honestly, I am not sure if this specific "Dewy + Smooth" version of the Maybelline Fit Me foundation is a recent release or not.  Those who know me are well aware the the Fit Me line has never worked for me.  I tried the concealer three times (each on different years to give it a chance) and no cigar.  I tried the original Fit Me foundation and pressed powder and both made my skin some sort of an oil slick and I have normal skin.  Anyway, I was looking for the new Vivid Lacquer Lip Glosses and happen to stumble upon this (another fact about me - anything that involves dewy skin - I am all about it) and for $5.99, what have I got to lose?  I chose the shade Golden Beige 240 since it looked like it was a good match, especially the yellow/golden undertone.

The packaging of this foundation is lifeless, to be blunt.  There is nothing exciting about it.  It is as plain Jane as it can be.  It comes in a glass bottle though with 1fl oz of product which is standard with most foundations, however, it does not have a pump.  Can be a deal breaker, but again, for $5.99 - I cannot complain.  The consistency is not too thin but not too thick, but it is a little runny (I actually like it).  It is a good shade match and it is easy to apply and blends seamlessly with a brush or a beauty sponge.  It looks really beautiful on the skin - as the name implies, Dewy + Smooth.  I love that it feels lightweight on the skin and...DRUM ROLL PLEASE...it did not make my skin oily!  This is a first from the Fit Me line - I actually like this foundation!  I have been using it for almost a month now.  Also, get it at Target because they sell it for $5.99.  Ulta sells is for $7.99 and major drugstores for $8.99.  I am actually inclined to repurchase this foundation - wish it had a pump though.
