Review:  This was an easy purchase for me: I love highlighters, it's only $8 and I am supporting my fellow Filipino beauty lover, Heart Defensor (That's Heart of YouTube & Instagram) on her collaboration with E.L.F. Cosmetics.

The packaging is similar the E.L.F. HD Highlighting Powder with the black box and white typography only this time instead of the image of the product printed on the front, there is a clear plastic where it allows you to see the actual product inside.  The compact is made of a rose gold colored faux metal packaging.  It is nice and sleek and the outside is made out of a mirrored material (you can literally see your highlight reflection off of this compact).  It has a mirror inside the compact and two highlighter shades - a rose gold shade and an icy champagne shade - hence the name Coffee 'N Cream.  When you mix the two together - it is a perfect blend of Coffee 'N Cream.

I prefer the powder on this highlighting duo than their HD Highlighting Powder.  The HD Highlighting Powder is somewhat gritty (on some of them - does not seem consistent but still pretty upon application).  It does not have a lot of fall out - but it is a soft pressed powder so expect a little kick up.  As you can see on the swatches, this is not a sheer highlighter (one swipe).  It does not apply thick on the skin but you will definitely some highlight bling.  However, you can sheer it out by using a fluffy blush instead of a dense one or by using your fingertips.  While I love a whole pan of highlighter to myself (I am selfish that way, LOL), the duo is a great idea because let's face it - unless you own only one highlighter - you will never hit pan!  The duo allows more versatility plus the shade selection compliments all skin tone plus when you blend this two together - you will get a happy medium.  This is what exactly what Heart Defensor intended it for - that people of all skin tones can enjoy using this highlighting compact.

Would I repurchase? Not the same shade, but if E.L.F. switched their old formulas to this one and released various duos of different shades, yes I will.
