SEPHORA FALL VIB SALE WISH LIST: HOW I PICKED MY PRODUCTS

The most anticipated sale of the year for all makeup lovers and Sephora customers is three days away starting on November 3rd.  Rouge Clients are rewarded with two 20% off sale events from November 3rd - 6th and November 10th - 15th.  VIB members get 20% off from November 10th - 13th.  Regular Beauty Insider members receive 15% from November 10th - 15th. These discounts are valid online and in-stores.  

With a million products being released left and right and throw in all the holiday collections, it can get crazy and spending can easily get out of hand.  On this particular sale, I picked my products differently.  I am not purchasing any new releases including any holiday collections.  I am basically purchasing (or attempting too - I mean there are two sale events for Rouge clients so I can split this purchase into two) staple items - items that are not limited editions or new releases.  My wish list items also reflect the chosen order of makeup application except for one skincare item that I have (i.e. primer, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, etc).  I also decided that my priority for this sale are the higher ticket items to maximize the discount.

Since my declutter process, this type of product selection for the VIB Sale still allows me to acquire new items without the impulsivity and large quantities of products.  I also know that these are products that I will use and enjoy.  I am not buying any novelty items that are trending (i.e. unicorn makeup) knowing that I will probably be over it after a day.
