Review: If you follow me on Instagram (@happyhr247) you already know that I love my Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer and that I had recently finished the entire bottle.  Since I need a mattifying primer due to the humidity this summer season and could not get to Sephora fast enough, I decided to try the Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot Instant-Perfecting Power Primer.  This primer was highly recommended by Tati (GlamLife Guru) and Jasmine (JuicyJaaass).

The packaging is the typical Soap and Glory retro style graphics.  The box is pink and has a black and white photo print along with black and white typography.  It is contained in a squeeze tube packaging which makes the product easy to dispense and contains 1 fl oz - typical of most primers out in the market.  The texture and consistency feels slightly similar to the Fenty Beauty Primer but this has less of a moisturizer feel but it still goes on smoothly on the skin.  Once applied on the skin, it dries in a nice matte finish, however, it still allows any liquid or powder product to glide on the skin easily without moving any previously applied face product.

While this mattifies the skin, it does not make it look dry.  This primer holds makeup well in humid conditions.  It extends the wear of makeup for over 8 hours without feeling greasy or oily.  This is a great drugstore alternative to the Fenty Primer or any other primer should you need one ASAP and do not have time to go to Sephora or do not want to wait for a few days to get your order.  You can easily get this primer at any Walgreens, Target or Ulta near you.
