Product Review | Wet N' Wild Ultimate Brow Retractable

Product Review | Ultimate Brow Retractable in Medium Brown ($3.99, Walgreens and Wet N' Wild website)

Product Details (from Wet N Wild Beauty website): Insta-worthy! Fill in and define your brows with our unique triangular pencil tip. It creates strokes small enough to look like your finest hairs and sharpens the edges of those brows with rub-resistant pigments. Brush and blend it all out with the pencil's built-in spoolie. When you’re done, the tip retracts for quick-and-easy storage in your makeup bag

Review: I am a loyal Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer and Brow Wiz user but every now and then I am curious to try an affordable dupe to my favorite brow products.  The last affordable dupe I enjoyed using was the NYX Precision Brow in the shade Espresso.  Wet N' Wild has been known to create good quality yet affordable makeup products so I did not hesitate to pick this up at Walgreens, plus who can say no to its $3.99 price tag?!

It is nicely packaged in a glossy finish box with black and pink typography and colors.   The box packaging is simple and straight forward.  The product itself has a similar packaging like most brow products out in the market - a black plastic dual ended pencil looking contraption that contains the actual brow product and the spooly.  The spooly is a tad bit shorter than the ABH (Anastasia Beverly Hills) Brow Wiz and the NYX Precision Brow, but I actually like the smaller size.  It brushes the eyebrow hairs just as good.  The tip of the brow definer is an exact copy of the ABH Brow Definer and as well as the NYX Precision Brow.  All the brow definers have a very nicely defined tip when they are brand new but they all lose their perfect definition shape once used several times.  However, the formula of this is great because it is not too waxy or soft.  I love that it is a slightly drier formula and it allows for the product to easily line or fill in the brows and stays longer.  If you are in a hunt for a much more affordable brow definer (The NYX Precision Brow is $9.99),  I definitely recommend this one.  Like I said, I am a loyal ABH user so I will never stop using them, but this is something that I use along with my ABH products.
