Product Details (from Nordstrom's website): A lightweight, wet-to-dry highlighting face powder that illuminates skin with gorgeous, shimmering color.

What it does: This highlighter can be used dry to achieve a subtle daily glow that brightens the complexion for sun-kissed radiance, or wet to boost shimmer intensity and achieve a bolder reflection. Review:  Here is another highlighter review for all of you.  There will be a few more coming your way.  What did I tell you? Highlighters are my jam.  I love YSL Beauty products, however, this is my first highlighter purchase from the brand.  The packaging comes in its typical YSL high shine gold box and dark brown typography.  The compact is also a polished gold plastic but it feels nice to the touch. It does track fingerprint marks so if you are picky about that you may not like this packaging.  I think YSL has one of the boujee packaging of luxury makeup brands.  As you can see on the photo, the design is an embossed envelope print which I personally think it is different but very classy and stylish.  I have always mentioned that I do not care for compacts where a brush or sponge is included and takes up extra space. This is one of those products.  I would rather have a full sized product.

The powder is similar to their Couture blush line (not to Volupte line) as well as the design.  Now, for blushes, this powder is great.  For highlighters, I prefer a different formula (gelee formula versus powders or at least a powder formula similar to Becca Cosmetics' Shimmering Skin Perfector).  This is not a take me to outer space type of highlighter.  This is a more natural illuminator.  So if you do not like natural looking highlighters, I will not recommend this.  However, if you do not mind a natural glow and a slightly powdery formula - you will like this.  For its value, if you prefer a natural glow with a slightly powdery formula, I suggest grab a drugstore brand and save your money.  I like this highlighter because it does produce a nice natural glow and I do like that on the skin but I will not be repurchasing this product.  Also, if you have a lot of texture or enlarge pores, you may want to avoid this product because the powder will probably sit on top of your skin and emphasize those problem areas.
