Product Review | TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Product Review | TATCHA Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48 full size and $20 mini, Sephora)
Product Details (from Sephora's website): Mist on this spray moisturizer for a boost of soothing hydration and a luminous complexion. It is formulated with more than 20 percent botanical oils and humectants to leave skin dewy. A proprietary complex of Okinawa red algae and hyaluronic acid delivers highly efficient hydration to the skin, acting as the ultimate moisture magnet. It’s also infused with hadasei-3 anti-aging complex, a trinity of Japanese anti-aging superfoods—green tea, rice and algae—that restores the look of youthful radiance.
The Dewy Skin Mist’s super-fine sprayer only takes two to three spritzes for your whole face. Use right before applying makeup for flawless application and a dewy, glowing look. Take it with you for easy touch-ups on the go to refresh skin and give it an extra glow. You can also mist it over makeup to replenish moisture and prevent caking. It won't disturb makeup, so you can use it anytime, anywhere.
Review: I first heard about this facial mist from Kathleen Lights. Since it was always out of stock online and in-store, a helpful associate at Sephora recommended the mini size to try since the full sizes were all out. So I did.
The box packaging is a black box with gold and white typography. The actual product is contained in a glossy lavender gradient glass bottle and a spray nozzle that distributes the product evenly - none of that harsh spritz on the face. I love anything luminous which was the main reason I was drawn to this product. This product is lightweight, non-greasy and leaves the skin glowing. I typically use this after applying makeup to melt all the powders on the skin and then I spray over a makeup setting mist. I use one spritz all over the face as this is very dewy. If you have oily skin, you may want to use sparingly and use a damp sponge to blot on the face to make sure it is not concentrated on any parts of the face where you need oil control. If you have normal to dry skin, you will love this product. This product is perfect as the cooler months are rolling in to keep the skin looking fresh and radiant. Cooler weather tends to make the skin brittle and dry. I enjoy using this product and I look forward to having dewy skin during the winter time (although we do not really have winter season in Los Angeles but I live near the beach so it will be cooler nonetheless). As always, I recommend that you try the mini size first to see if this is the right product for you especially for its high price tag.
