Product Review | YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One-Glow in BD50 Warm Honey ($48, Sephora)

Product Details (from Sephora's website): This advanced formula, made with 70 percent water, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and antioxidants is clinically shown to provide rich hydration and improve the look of skin texture while creating a naturally shine-free, luminous complexion. It’s your skin, but better. The breakthrough texture is incredibly light, so skin feels fresh and comfortable all day. Finally, the coverage is buildable from light to medium. It’s the ultimate multitasking partner for flawless-looking, naturally glowing skin.

Available in 12 shades, TOUCHE ECLAT All-In-One Glow is a multitasker that can be used in multiple ways. Use it as your everyday tinted moisturizer if you want deep hydration with medium radiant coverage. Use it as part of your makeup routine if you tend to do a matte finish during the week and want more natural coverage on the weekends. It can also be used in combination with your favorite matte foundation if you want a natural glow on certain parts of your face with a mattified look around the t-zone.

Review:  I have watched Jamie Paige on YouTube rave about this product over and over.   Since I needed to use up some foundations, I waited on purchasing this one.  Luckily, Sephora had their Appreciation Sale over the summer and was able to get it for 20% off.  The packaging is typical of their Touche Eclat line - gold box with black typography.  The foundation is contained in a plastic tube with gold trimming and the product is dispensed through a pump.  True to its claims, this product feel extremely light on the skin, comfortable and provides the skin with a natural glow.  This product is easy to blend and keeps the skin hydrated.  This is similar to the It Cosmetics CC Cream but lighter.  Although, I do prefer the consistency and finish of the YSL All In One Glow instead of the It Cosmetics CC Cream.  I use this on its own even though it is recommended to mix with a matte foundation.  I have normal skin and go for a radiant finish and light coverage.   I love that it is water based and it has so many ingredients that are beneficial to the skin.  The only con I have with this product is the very limited  shade selection.  I definitely recommend this product and would buy it again regardless of whether there is a sale or not.
