Product Review | Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot

Product Review | Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pots in Martini and Frost ($22, Sephora and Ulta)

Product Details (from Sephora's website): Tarte’s Chrome Paint Shadow Pot features 80 percent pure pearl pigments that give you the high sheen of a cream or gloss but the easy wear and application of a powder. The mirror-effect loose pigment melts instantly and stays put for hours.

Review: I love eyeshadow shimmer pots.  I think they are the easiest to use and give the prettiest sheen or glimmer on the eyelids.  If Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona stopped making eyeshadow palettes, I'd be content with one matte palette and use these types of shimmer shadows.

Towards the end of 2018, I purchased very similar potted shadows to these Tarte ones such as the Marc Jacobs See-Quins Glam Glitter Shadow (see review here) and Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow Pots (review will be posted soon).  I love the price point and packaging of the Tarte Chrome Paint Pots.  They come in a high gloss purple square box with the shade of the shadow filling the top cover of the box.  It comes in a glass pot, rose gold cap and a plastic shield since these are pressed pigments.  The pigmentation is amazing and they are also long-wearing.  These apply well using the fingers or you can use a dense brush with a spritz of any finishing spray to achieve high shine.  I definitely recommend these eyeshadow pots as they compliment any matte shadows looks.
