Review:  I purchased this palette among with a couple of other items from Kylie Cosmetics in December during their holiday sale.  I actually set the box aside while I was decluttering over the holidays and totally forgot about it until I cleaned out a part of my closet earlier this month.  Many of you know I am not a fan of color, but I have been going out of my comfort zone when it comes to eyeshadows.  Also, these tones are still somewhat muted and not as "loud" so I knew I could work with them.

The packaging is a black box with a matte finish with the Kyshadow illustration and the brand name in white blocked typography.  The palette itself is typical of their 9-pan shadows:  white packaging in a white satin finish with the same illustration as the box packaging except in black bold typography.  The name of the eyeshadows are printed on the bottom of the palette.

The formula is the same as the very first Kyshadow, the Bronze Palette.  It is creamy, easy to blend and long-wearing.  I love how you can do a subtle daytime look or an extravagant evening look with this palette.  I am glad that she included a large mirror on this palette as the original Bronze Palette did not have any.  Honestly, I have always loved the formula of the Kyshadows.  However, I do think they are over-priced for a retail price of $42 for a nine-pan palette.  This is the reason why I typically purchase items from them during their sales.  Plus, you only get free shipping when you reach $40 unlike some retailers who will ship for free on orders under $30.  I do recommend this palette but as mentioned above, I would buy it when it goes on sale.
