Review: After watching Tara Lynn's review on this palette on YouTube, I decided to pass on it when it first released. I ended up buying the Becca X Khloe palette instead. However, the Sephora VIB Sale came along and I had quite a few gift cards to use so I decided, why not. Tara Lynn also specified that using natural haired brushes with this formula will pick up more pigment that synthetic haired-brushes.
It comes in a white satin finish box with gold typography. The palette itself is a sturdy metal material with a variety of lavender and purple colorful design and gold typography. The shade I picked up was Lovegasm, which has deeper, more coral tones that matches my medium tan skin. The compact comes with a large mirror and four powder products: a highlighter, a satin finish blush, a bronzer and a blush topper. These powders have a gelee formula (similar to Anastasia Beverly Hills individual compact highlighters or the Dior Luminizer Powders) so it does take a while to get pigmentation, but it is there. The powders are buildable, which I like. You can apply it as sheer as you can or build it up for more pigment. These are easy to apply with natural brush hairs and are long-wearing. The powder sits nicely on the skin.
As I have said on my post on Instagram, if you have the Becca X Khloe palette, you do not need this palette. I would not recommend that you run out and get this palette due to its hefty price tag. If you want to snag this palette, make sure you get it on sale (like waiting for the Sephora VIB Fall sale). As much as this palette provides a beautiful finish on the skin, I do not think it is worth $75 even if it is from Charlotte Tilbury. I love the brand, especially her foundations and individual blushes. If you want to try a powder product, get the Cheek to Chic blush.
