Product Review | Laneige Lip Glowy Balm

Product Review | Laneige Lip Glowy Balm ($15, Sephora)

Product Details (from Sephora's website):  A lightweight, moisture-coating lip balm for hydrated, tinted, and kissable lips throughout the day.  The perfect daytime partner in crime to the cult-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask, Glowy Lip Balm is pocket sized for easy, on-the-go application. The formula contains murumuru and shea butters that provide powerful hydration and lock in moisture longer.
It comes in four flavors/colors: Grapefruit, Pear, Berry and Peach.

Review:  I first discovered Laneige through Kathleen Lights with its Lip Sleeping Mask and bought it of off Amazon prior to making its way to Sephora.  This past spring, I have been able to score items from Amazon Beauty for a lesser price.  I bought this for $10 and could not be happier.  Unfortunately, this is my second one because for the life of me, I lost the first one and its still brand new.  I literally lost it the next day!

The box packaging is similar to the Laneige Sleeping Mask box:  a grapefruit colored box with a periwinkle blue bottom with white typography.  The actual product is contained in a pink squeeze tube with a twist cap closure and white typography.  Typical of most Laneige Lip products, this has a nice consistency and definitely not sticky.  It is very comfortable to use while keeping the lips hydrated and moisturized.  It is easy to apply although it is not long-wearing.  You do need to re-apply, but that is typical of many, even the best lip balms out in the market.  I definitely recommend this lip balm but try to get it from Amazon to get a few dollars off as I honestly think $15 for a lip balm is expensive.
