Product Review | Colourpop Tie Dye Super Shock Highlighter
Product Review | Colourpop Tie Dye Super Shock Highlighter in The Real Thing ($12, Colourpop.com).
Product Details (from Colourpop's website): This long-wearing crème powder cheek formula is the bff of our famous super shock shadows; it shares the same unique texture that is extremely buildable and blends smoothly to leave the cheeks looking healthy.
Review: I have always loved the Supershock Formula from Colourpop whether be the single eyeshadows or their highlighters. When they launched this compact from the Nude Mood collection, I was all for it but luckily I was able to pick it up on sale. The box packaging is a blush nude box with roses as its design along with white typography. The compact is huge; larger than an average size compact but it comes with an oversized mirror. The formula is a nice soft cream that dries as powder. The supershock formula melts into the skin due to its cream to powder finish. It is also extremely pigmented and leaves quite a bit of sheen or glow on the skin depending on how you build up the product application. This is a long-wearing highlighter and it is beautiful. I love the warm bronze tone with hints of gold. It is perfect for medium to deeper skin tones. The only con about this product is its size. The oversized pan is unnecessary. It is bulky when it comes to storage purposes; however, everything else about this highlighter is perfection. Please note that the swatch below is from Colourpop's website.
