Review:  Pat McGrath's packaging tops many brands out on the market.  The intricate detail on the box packaging and the extremely heavy weight case instantly provides a luxurious feel.  The Divine Rose Palette was no exception.  I skipped this item during its first release since I did not think I would like the rose tones.  Upon reading and watching many reviews of the palette, the rose tones are subdued; with more brown undertones along the champagne and golden shimmers added on the bunch - I was sold.  I waited for its second release on March 6th and jumped the gun on it.  While the shades may not be earth-shattering to most; these are my kind of tones.  Having said that, I know I will get a ton of use out of this palette and I know I will get my money's worth.  I love how you can use these shades as a subtle eye look or you can intensify them for a night time affair.  These shadows are buttery, easy to blend and especially on top of another shade.  Unlike some powder, the blendability of powder over another can become patchy.  These blend like a dream.  The shadows are long-wearing and are easy to apply.  Would I recommend this palette?  I am always honest about my feelings on luxury or higher priced makeup - if you have the extra money and want to splurge, I definitely will say yes.  If you already have these shades in your collection, then you can skip this one.  I buy Pat McGrath palettes not necessarily just for the shades but also for its formula, which in my opinion, is amazing and one of the best on the market.
