Review:  Before downsizing my makeup items at the end of 2017, I used to own tons of Nars individual blushes and highlighters.  Now I own none but I was determined to purchase this palette when it first came out because it has the perfect blush shades and highlighters for my skin tone.

While the typical Nars packaging comes in black with white typography and a soft matte hard case, this palette did not disappoint.  The reflective fuchsia box packaging with white typography definitely brings life to this palette without even opening it.  The actual palette case is a sturdy compact with a large mirror and a 3D style front cover with the same fuchsia shade with black typography.  It is a very luxurious packaging which on a superficial level makes the $59 price point justifiable, in my opinion.

The palette contains three highlighter and three blushes.  The formula of the highlighters are different from the ones in their regular line.  This has a cream to powder finish although not too soft a cream texture if that makes sense.  The shades are beautiful and can be used depending on your varying skin tone throughout the year.  The blushes have more of a peach/coral tones to them and the one on the pink side is a peach pink (similar to Nars Orgasm just with more pigment).  The blush shades are perfect for anyone with medium to tan skin tone.  I am sure if you have a lighter complexion you can use these products with a lighter hand.

The highlighters are beautiful.  They have a nice cream to powder finish.  They sink into the skin beautifully and are long-wearing.  They are also buildable.  The blush powders are similar to their regular blush line; which of course is phenomenal.  They blend nicely on the skin and are very pigmented.  I love that this palette is versatile as you have a variety of highlighter and blush shades and you can always use the highlighter as a shimmer shadow should you want to.  I definitely recommend this palette.  I think you get a good bang for your buck.  It is perfect for travel due to its hard case and versatility.  Now, if you want a similar palette with an affordable price, check out my review on the BH Cosmetics Glowing In Greece Face Palette.  Keep in mind the Glowing In Greece Palette has similar tones but are deeper shades of peach, coral and bronze.  So if you have a lighter skin tone, it might not be the best fit.  Check it out and let me know which palette is right for you!
