Review:  Similar to my previous post, I will add this disclaimer just in case this is your first time here.  I wrote a little bit more information about LYS Beauty on my review of the Triple Fix Serum Foundation.  If you would like to read it, please click here.

All of their products are packaged in a white triangular box with small triangular cut outs and black typography.  The brand is printed in a nude pink color and half of the box also have the nude pink color in a diagonal design.  This primer is contained in triangular plastic squeeze tube with a rose gold cap.  The consistency of this primer is surprisingly smooth.  I love that it has a thinner consistency which makes it easier to apply on the skin as it glides seamlessly.  Most gripping primers I have tried are somewhat thick and you can feel the thickness upon application which causes the primer to form little ball-like particles due to it lifting from the skin.  This primer does not form tiny ball-like particles when applied on the skin.  I will attribute that to the fact that it has a thinner consistency that allows for an even application.  To be honest, I am not a fan of gripping primers because I haven't had any luck in finding a good one.  This is the last LYS product I actually tested.

To give most face base products that I test a fair chance, I try to pair them with other regular products that I know work for me no matter what.  I first tested this primer with my tried and true YSL Touche Eclat Radiance Awakening Foundation.  It was flawless.  I had no issues whatsoever.  I also used the same sponge that I consistently grab on the daily.  Now, when I tested this primer with the LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation, I had a different experience although I was able to fix it quickly.  Since this is the serum primer and the foundation is also a serum base, it was easy for both products to slip and slide together during application.  Both products seem to lift off of the skin.  After I noticed that, I stopped blending and wiped off the small area on my face and re-applied the primer again.  This time, I let the primer sit for at least 5 minutes giving it some time to sink into the skin.  Once I did this,  it was night and day when it came to the application.  It worked just fine.  There is a slight tackiness on the skin once the primer dries but that is to be expected but it definitely made my skin look flawless.  I'm not sure if that's the foundation making it look beautiful or the primer but the combination of the Serum Primer and the LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation is perfection.

I love this primer especially since it is the first gripping primer that worked for me.  For $20, this is really good product and it is easy to use.  I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a gripping primer that does not lift off product on the skin once applied.  Have you tried this primer?
