Review:  I have only tried very little MAC Cosmetics face base products.  If I'm being honest, this is my second one (I tried the Studio Fix foundation while I was hunting testing a few for my wedding in 2019).  This product was highly recommended by my friends on Instagram @leahgperez and @beautyproductsaremycardio during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty sale.  So I snagged these puppies for $12 each (retail price is $24/each).

Typical of many MAC packaging, it comes in a black box with a typography that matches the shade of the concealer.  The MAC logo is a white print that is also on the outer design of the box.  The concealers are housed in a clear heavy duty plastic with a black cap and it has a smaller doe foot applicator which is nice and can get into corners easily.  I usually get two shades when it comes to concealers, a shade or two lighter and one that is close to my skin tone.  

When I was reading the description on Ulta's website, lightweight and comfortable already captured my heart so it was a quick add to the cart moment.  This concealer claims to be lightweight and that is absolutely correct.  It applies nicely underneath the eyes and my under eye area is drier than the rest of my face.  The name smooth wear is definitely not a lie.  This has kept my under eye area looking fabulous all day.  When MAC says it is seamless, they are not lying.  It is also long-wearing and can be built up without looking like 100 years old.  I love the natural finish of this concealer and it looks beautiful underneath the eye area.  What's even better is that this concealer consistently looks smooth underneath the eyes with all of my under eye powders.  I highly recommend this concealer.  It is still cheaper than the Too Faced Multi-Tasking Sculpting Concealer or the very popular Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.  Better yet, MAC has sales throughout the year so if you want to try it for a discounted price, make sure to sign up for their e-mails.  You can also use Ulta's 20% off coupon that they send out each year that includes prestige products.
