Product Review | Morpe M463 Fluffy Powder Brush

The Morphe M463 ($12.99, Morphe Website and Burbank Store)brush reminds of the Marc Jacobs Face III Face Buffing Foundation Brush ($55, Sephora) although they both have a different purpose, as this brush is a powder brush. If you follow me on here for a while now, you'll know that I have switched my entire makeup brushes (except my Oval brushes) to the Morphe Brand two months ago, getting rid of my oldies from Sonia Kashuk and Sephora.

This brush is a super full brush, as you can see how dense the bristles are. It claims to evenly distribute powder for a light and airy finish. I feel that it does that. The brush handle is sturdy. I love the size and shape of this brush. However, the bristles are not as soft as their Elite and the Gun Metal Collection ones. I was a little surprised about that and it also sheds a lot. The interesting thing about the way it sheds is it does not do it when I'm washing or cleaning the brush, but it literally sheds as I use it on my face. I'll end up having small bristles on my face during and after using this brush.

I know the price of the brush is very affordable but Morphe is known for high quality brushes (I compare their Elite and Gun Metal Collection to the Sephora Pro Brushes as I used to own a few), so I find this one a little disappointing. I wish they would reproduce this brush using bristles similar to their Elite and Gun Metal Collection. Just a simple suggestion, Morphe. Do you have this brush? Does your brush shed during use?
