Product Review | Real Her Moisturizing Lipsticks
Real Her Moisturizing Lipsticks ($12, Real Her Website) delivers more than a lipstick. Packaging is important to me, it's a first impression. This is what got me looking at these babies until I found out what their products stood for. @realhercosmetics have empowering and inspiring quotes to remind each of us that we are beautiful, unique, powerful and so forth. Not only that, 20% of the company's profits go to the American Association of University Women to support programs that empower women.
The price point is very good, in my opinion. As I mentioned earlier. Packaging is key and the definitely knew how to market these lippies by doing a black and white square casing. The names of the lipsticks are very catchy and attractive. The product itself is hydrating, pigmented and long-wearing. Even though it says moisturizing lipstick, it applies semi-matte but still very comforable on the lips. I picked out the colors "I Love Myself" (nude, top swatch) and "I Define Beauty Myself" (rose mauve, bottom swatch) and could not have picked the perfect shades. There is nothing negative I have to say about this product other than I wish it was more accessible to more stores other than their website and that they create more beauty products in the future.
