Review:
I first heard about this product from Casey Holmes.  I did not think about it that much until I purchased a foundation online that did not match my shade in person.  I did not really feel like returning the product since it performed very well so I decided to purchase the Olive shade to add a darker tint to my foundation.  Of course, since they had the mixer in white (just in case I get something online that might be too dark in person), I bought it as well.  For the price point of $9.99, this was a no brainer.  It has the classic NYX Box packaging in black and white typography along with the shade of the product.  It comes in a tube with 1 fl oz of product.  The container is a regular squeeze tube that easily dispenses the product.

As you can see on the swatch, the product is quite thick, however, once you mix it into the foundation, it is not thick at all.  It does not change the consistency of the foundation or the performance.  The only thing it changes is the color or shade.  For that purpose, this product is great and worth the money so you do not have to return any foundation that you love just because you purchased the wrong shade online.  Plus, we all know that it can be a hassle to do returns.

However, be cautious about this product if you know your foundation oxidizes.  I decluttered my Sonia Kashuk Semi-Matte Foundation (great product but it oxidizes) but I still have it in a box among other items that made into the declutter pile and I did a little experiment on it.  Knowing that specific foundation oxidizes, I  added the White foundation mixer to make it lighter so when it oxidizes, it will not be too dark.  That did not do anything, in fact, it made the oxidation process faster in my opinion.

Overall, I think this is a great tool should you end up purchasing the wrong shade online and do not feel like going through the hassle of the return process.  Would I repurchase? Yes.
