The packaging is a black glossy finish box with the image of the foundation on it.  It is simple but it has a nice appeal to it.  The container is a small frosted bottle with a dropper that dispenses the product.  It contains .43 oz which has less product than most foundations, whether drugstore or high end.  Some may say, well for $13.99 it should be okay.  I own the No7 foundation which contains 1 oz and retails for $15.99, so price wise, I think the NYX foundation is expensive for the amount of product it contains.

The line has 24 shades, which I am always a proponent of extended range of colors for all skin types. I picked up the shade Beige, which matches my skin tone and undertone pretty well.  I lean more to yellow/golden undertone and this is perfect for me.  I love this foundation because it provides a sheer to light coverage (you may be able to build it up to medium, but I prefer lighter coverage so I did not try to build it up that way).  It makes my skin look luminous and it gives me an extra even skin tone.  It is easy to blend and it melts on the skin once applied and buffed in.  It is one of those foundations that give that "your skin but better" appearance.  It has at least an 8hr wear, good enough for an entire work day without touching up, with a setting spray.  Keep in mind, I have normal skin with an even skin tone, very small or invisible pores.  I like to share that information with any reviews, especially when it comes to foundation wear because wear-time varies from person to person with many variables such as skin type, complexion, texture, etc.

It says that it applies better with the foundation brush that it comes with, but I did not buy the brush.  I just used my Beauty Blender or any beauty sponge I had available to buff it in.  I also tried it with my Marc Jacobs Face III foundation brush and my Morphe M439 Deluxe Buffer brush, it and applied and blended well.  In my opinion, you do not need the NYX brush to apply this foundation but the brush is priced at $14.99, so if you are inclined to use the brush that comes with it, I say go for it since it is not expensive.

Would I repurchase this foundation? Yes.
