Product Review | Too Faced Size Queen Mascara

Product Review | Too Faced Size Queen Mascara ($21, Too Faced Cosmetics.Com)

Product Details (from Too Faced Cosmetics' website): We all know size really does matter, and this mascara proves it. Combining a dual-helix brush and curl-setting formula, Size Queen delivers magnificent, multi-dimensional, massive lashes. Short bristles coat each lash with volumizing, conditioning fibers. Long bristles stretch and lengthen for a finish that’s larger than life.  Vitamins C and E keep lashes healthy, while Red Algae increases keratin resistance for maximum lash flexibility.  In just one coat, lashes are ultra-long, thick, defined and curled.  Light-reflecting pigments keep lashes looking super black and fresh all day.

Review:  I am all about trying out new products when they are on sale.  Too Faced sent me a coupon via e-mail for 20% OFF earlier this year, so I went on their website to try out a few products.  There was nothing that really called out my name (I should have actually repurchased the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation and  Concealer during this sale but I did not thinking that I still had a good amount left but I had no idea it just reached its expiration date.  Oh well).  Anyway, I have tried their Better Than Sex Mascara (both regular and waterproof version) and liked it, so I decided to try this.  I have decent lashes but they are straight and does not really have any volume to it (I do not use false eyelashes) so I was hoping with the large wand but short bristles and and its claims for volumizing and conditioning fibers, it might do wonders.  I also like the fact that it has vitamin E to keep the lashes healthy and strong with the keratin ingredients.  Needless to say, while it does not make my lashes curl like I want it to, it is probably the best I have tried.  It definitely provides volume and it does not flake throughout the day.  Even though the size of the wand is huge, it is easy to use and apply.  It is also easy to remove.  Would I repurchase? Yes.  I hope they come out with a waterproof one as well.
