Review:  Becca is well-known for their complexion products so when this came out it was definitely on my list once I emptied out a bottle of foundation that I have before its expiration date.  The box packaging is silver with the typography embossed on the box and the shade of the foundation showing on the front.  The tube is silver with white typography and a clear window where you can see the actual foundation shade and it has a pump.

I was excited about this foundation as I was looking replace my It Cosmetics CC Cream with this one.  I loved the It Cosmetics CC Cream but somehow it stopped working for me during the summer months.  I wanted so much to love this foundation but I had a love-hate relationship with it in the beginning.   It has a streaky application when I used a brush but applied better with a sponge.  It claims that it is self-setting - no it is not.  This has a dewy finish (which I love) but most dewy foundations do not set itself.  It is definitely lightweight and makes the skin look healthy and fresh.  However, this foundation moved underneath the eye area.  I tried it with different primers and nothing worked.  I was ready to give up on it until I discovered it was my eye cream that I use underneath the eye area that was causing the slip and slide of this product.

I like that it is not as thick as the It Cosmetics CC Cream.  I could have gone a shade darker with Bamboo but since I use this a CC Cream not a foundation, it works.  I apply one layer just to give my skin a boost.  In my opinion, this is best applied with a sponge.  It will give you a skin-like finish with a healthy glow.  Given all that, I am still undecided whether I like this product or not.  I feel like it does not give me the same finish every time I use it compared to other foundations I have.  Sometimes it is flawless and sometimes it is bland.  If the primers are altering the results, then this is not a product that I would recommend.  Most of my best loved foundations work with all the primers that I use.
