Review:  This is my second Viseart eyeshadow palette.  I really enjoyed (and still enjoying) the Warm Mattes palette so I decided to pick up a palette with shimmer shades, plus the color story on this one is really beautiful.  The packaging on this one is very different from your typical 12-Viseart Palettes. The box has the image of the open palette with white typography along with the brand's name.  The packaging is a sturdy metal casing with a soft rubbery texture on the sides.  The compact comes with a nice sized mirror.  It has a plastic shield with the names of the eyeshadow shades, similar to the Natasha Denona Palettes in the leather binding.  The matte shades are not as hard pressed as their regular 12-pan palettes.  It is a lot softer but the pigmentation is exactly the same.  This is my first time playing with Hourglass shimmers and I really like the quality of the powder.  It has a nice soft glow that can be built up to a maximum.  If you have been following me on Instagram (@happyhr247) for a while, I spray always dip my finger on the shimmer shadows and spray it with any setting mist prior to application.  The shimmers always last a lot longer when I spray my finger prior to application and it just provides a much better shine.  These shadows are long-wearing and are easy to blend.  You can use a light hand or build it up depending on your liking.  Due to the powders being not as hard pressed, there is a slight kick back but it does not affect the way the shadows apply on the eyelids/crease area once you tap off the excess before application.  I love this palette for several reasons:  1.  It is compact and it has a huge mirror.  2.  The sturdy packaging is perfect for travel. 3. The color story is beautiful.  You can use it for a day or nigh time look. 4.  It blends beautifully. 5.  It is long-wearing.  Would I recommend it? What do you think?! Of course!  This is also a great way to try Viseart palettes for a lesser price (a 12-pan Viseart Palette retails for $80).
