Product Review | Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer

Product Review | Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer in the shade Cacao ($14, Revolutionbeauty.com - Gifted)

Product Details (from Revolution Beauty's website):  Get the Summer glow all year round with the Revolution Pro Sculpting Bronzer. This intensely pigmented bronzer is perfect for sculpting and bronzing. The creamy, silk formula has been infused with moisturising cocoa extract, so will not cling to any dry patches and will melt seamlessly into the skin.

With the easy-to-blend formula, this sculpting bronzer can be built up from a light dusting of sun kissed glow, to more targeted sculpting and contouring. The formula features a pure matte colour for the most natural looking bronze.

Encased in a luxury compact with a faux leather metallic brown snake-skin and compact mirror, this product offers a gorgeous addition to your makeup bag.

Review:  Let me start by saying this product (along with other Revolution Pro items I will be reviewing in the next few days) was gifted to me by a friend of mine.  Revolution Pro is a branch of Makeup Revolution which basing off of the packaging of this product, is clearly their pro line or a much higher end or quality version of their regular line.  I haven't used Makeup Revolution in a few years since I decluttered a bunch of my makeup in 2017.

I was surprised with a few things about this product:  One, the box packaging.  Two, the actual packaging/compact.  Three, the intricate design on the bronzer.  Four, I did not know Makeup Revolution had a Pro line.  The bronzer comes in a high shine/reflective rose gold box with black typography.  The actual compact is a rose gold case with faux leather.  It reminded me of Victoria Beckham's packaging from a few years back only in rose gold.  The compact comes with a mirror and the bronzer has a beautiful intricate design.  This comes in five shades.  I believe Cacao is the third shade in this line.  Since this was gifted to me, I did not get to pick the shade, but it works for my skin tone (even if I'm a toasted biscuit at this time).   I looked up the website to see what other shades they have but the other one next to Cacao seem to lean on a very warm orange and of course, the last shade was too dark.  I wish they had a wider shade range with better undertones.

The powder is so soft and it blends so nicely on the skin.  It is very pigmented so a light hand is needed unless you really want an intense bronze.  There is some kick up on the powder but nothing a tap of a brush can't solve.  It really gives the skin a nice natural bronze.  It is long-wearing and blends easily on top of foundation and other powder products.  It says that it has cocoa extract so I did expect it to smell like the Too Faced Bronzers, but it doesn't have a scent at all which is fine with me.  I definitely recommend this bronzer, especially if you are looking for an affordable but high quality product.  It looks and feels high-end and it is really beautiful on the skin.
