Review:  For the past three and a half years, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask has been my holy grail lip care item.  I tried to find a dupe for it or at least something similar but not since 2021.  The Milani Cosmetics Avocado Butter Lip Mask came close.  I don't know what it is but the cooler months make me feel some type of way towards lip masks and other lip treatments.  Having said that, I was excited that Jason Wu Beauty had a variety of lip care items on his first launch but I opted for this overnight lip mask. This lip mask is probably the only item I purchased that had a simplistic packaging and by that I mean literally it came in a clear plastic box unlike the rest of his packaging.  This comes in a clear plastic tin/tub with a nude beige screw cap and black typography.  The consistency of this lip mask is very similar to the Laneige one.  Not too thin, not too thick.  Definitely not too goopy like the ones from Fourth Ray Beauty.  It is solid to the touch but will melt onto your fingers as you apply them on the lips.  It has a nice slip to it that easily overs the lips.  It does not feel greasy or sticky.  This keeps my lips soft and supple overnight.  Even when it dries, it still leaves the lips feeling hydrated.  For the price point at $15, this is definitely the closest alternative to the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask that I have tried in a long time.  I am actually a few uses away to finishing up my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.  Typically, I have a back up already but this time I don't and that is because I think I will finish up the Jason Wu Overnight Mask before I re-purchase the Laneige one.  I think both products will be my go-to Lip Mask for a while.  I definitely recommend this product especially if you are looking for a cheaper alternative but also a really good one to the Laneige Lip Mask.
